Swift Removals is not like any other removal company in the area. We take great pride in our work and our

uniformed staff are trained to ensure every removal is carried out with the up most care and attention.

Using professional wrapping/packing materials you will find that your goods are wrapped even before they

leave your door. The great thing is that we will cater for all types of moves (ie notary, need storage, apartment

with no lift etc or just a standard door to door in the same day). And because we do removals to and from the

UK on a daily basis we can offer our expertise in safely transporting your goods to and from storage or the

next destination.

Insurance?

We are fully covered for Goods in transit and if required whilst your items are in our storage. All insurances can

be emailed on request. Additional Insurance is available, speak to our staff when they visit for your quotation

about this service.

How do you price up removals?

Many local removals quote over the phone and offer cheap hourly rates to get the job and then usually add on

extras. We prefer to visit each customer to give an accurate survey (depending on location). Not only do we

view what you have to move but the location, parking etc We will then email you the quote so you have it in

black and white. That way you know exactly where you stand and don't have to worry about what the bill might

end up being !

Do you supply packing materials?

Unlike some companies who charge a fortune for boxes etc, On requesting our services Swift Removals are

happy to be able to supply you boxes of various shapes and sizes free of charge. (subject to availability).

Do you do a packing service?

Yes, we offer a full/partial professional wrapping service depending on your requirements and budget.

How do you protect our furniture?

We have a large range of specialist removal blankets (see images on the right). If blankets are not suitable we

will box wrap instead. We do our very best to wrap each and every item even before it leaves your premises to

ensure nothing is damaged. Pictures are wrapped in specialist bags or wrapped in removal blankets.

If you don't have the original box for the TV it will be wrapped in specialist bags, boxed wrapped or blanketed.

Fridges, washing machines, cookers etc are all treated the same.

What vehicles do you use?

We have 3 types of vans and a trailer based in Spain 24/7.  As we will survey the job first we can asses which

vehicle/s are most suitable for your removal as it will depend on location, parking, height restrictions etc

Do you do an Inventory on collection?

It isn't necessary to do any inventory when we are moving A-B on the same day. Even if the goods are going

into storage for a few days we lock the van and give the customer the padlock key. However should the goods

need to be stored for a period of time that we need to unload then we will do a full inventory on collection and

ask you to tick off on delivery as we bring the goods in.

Will you disconnect / reconnect my cooker / washing machine ?

We are happy to do all of the above but we do not touch gas appliances.

Do you offer storage facilities?

Yes we do. We understand that sometime you need a few days gap between collection/delivery to sort out any

legal matters. We will be happy to include these for free. Speak to our staff when they visit for your quotation

about this service.

Garage & garden?

Some garden pots can be extremely heavy – make sure you inform our member of staff when they visit you

for your quotation if you plan on taking them with you.

Gas bottles/paint etc?

Flammable substances like paint, matches, gas bottles etc., may not be allowed to travel in the removals van or

stay in the storage,

Do I need to pay you in advance?

No, we don't expect to be paid until the job is finished and we have cleaned up after ourselves and taken away

any old boxes, wrapping materials that you don't require and want out of the way.

Payment is via Bank Transfer (cleared funds before unloading) or cash.

Price is not always everything. Removal companies will be in your home and moving your possessions. How quickly do they respond to your phone calls or emails? Make sure you feel comfortable with the company you choose and the day should go smoothly.
